These should go the way of the Edsel and dodo birds.

I went to the Carmichael branch of the Sacto Public Library. (It's large, gorgeous, has a bazillion PCs, and is open Sundays!) In the parking lot I found a duplicate of the charging station at the N.H. branch, except that THE CABLES WERE STILL THERE! One was a plastic "monkey fist," having flat contacts visible through four holes in the cover; the other was an inductively-coupled flatt blade that slides into a slot on the vehicle. The latter makes the most sense as it elimates contact problems like dirt and oxidation. However, I don't think you can get the same amount of power through the relatively small inductor (about 3" dia. x 3/4" thick).

The phone number of this outfit was on the charger at my library. The linked page talks about a map that will guide you to their chargers (hopefully before you get to empty).

I'll disagree with (1), but mostly because of the pronoun.

Although (2) is factually correct, that topic was misplaced, and unfortunately CampKohler recommended *this* category as a better fit. (I would have said "General", with the assumption that electricity counts as "fuel".)

If it's actually a request for help finding a charging station, then (3) is right. It's unclear to me what the question was actually about. If it was just a "Hey, post here if you've used EV", then it should have gone to the "Just For Fun" category.

What exactly is an "Electric Fueling station"?
Are you asking about recharging stations for EVs?
That is not normally referred to as "fueling" but I can't think of anything else....
