I spent some time looking for an answer to this (first ten pages) but have not found it mentioned.

What is the maximum possible number of points in a 30 day period?

I understand that there are 975 pts. maximum possible per day (29250 pts.), and that once a week an additional 100 poll voting points are possible. Assuming a maximum of 5 weeks in a month (500 pts.) I arrive at a maximum total of 29750 pts.

How then have some members accumulated more than 31,000 points in 30 days?

I'm probably missing something simple...please be kind.

RG

30 days (720 hours) = 30,225
6 weekly polls = 600
Tell-A-Friend = 1,200
Joining = 100

Total = 32,125 points maximum

It's a rolling 30 days so some members may actually have 31 days (if you posted prices on day 1 in the afternoon and day 31 in the morning). Also you receive 80 points for each email referral up to 1200 points.

29750+975+1200=31925 max

If you want to add in the 100 points for joining the most any member could obtain would be 32025.

At least that's my calculation :)
