You been talkin' with Bubba, haven't you? You gotta stop doing that. You know he drinks like a fish and spouts off with the first lie that comes to his lips. Stay away from that dude. And, his whole family.

In the 10 days since mbs6064 started this topic, it doesn't appear he's interested in the discussion. Or, necessarily, in posting gas prices.
If he's not interested in the topic he started, maybe the topic should die a natural death through inactivity on the part of others.

All the gas comes from the same pipeline at the same time.

All of the gas comes from the nearest terminal closest to your location. We have one terminal in this area that supplies all of Central Kentucky. The quality of the gas is basically all the same no matter the so called brand name of the station, which has nothing to do with quality.

Many fuel trucks have multiple internal compartments so they can carry multiple grades or brands of fuel. All gasoline sold in the U.S. is required to have atleast a certain level of additives so the independent stations are buying fuel with either a generic additive package or the terminal is adding one of the name brand additive packages.

The gasoline itself would be of the same quality. What would differ would be the additive packages. So it would depend on what you actually mean by "lesser quality gas stations." If you mean a non-chain, independent station versus a national brand station (which is likely a locally owned and operated franchise), then yes, sometimes that does happen.
