I have never done it, but I am sure you can look it up on the internet.

The way I do it is to call the country embassy in Washington and ask for the gasoline secretariat. When he comes on the line pose your question.

The Google thing is acheived by pressing the Ctrl and Alt keys simultaneously and then pressing the delete key.

Well, I heard there was a new internet invention called Google. You might try that.

Don't forget, if you're going to compare the price we pay at the pump versus what residents of other countries pay at the pump, you have to take into account the standard of living in those countries, as well as the use (non-use) of driving/personal vehicles, etc. versus the need for a vehicle a
You also have to consider whether or not the local government subsidizes the cost of fuel (which may mean that they pay for the subsidy via taxes, rather than at the pump).

Just a suggestion, but if you're interested in the price of gas "to cpmpare what we are paying for by the gallon", you might want to post gas prices just a little more frequently than you have been. In the past 9 years of your Gas Buddy membership, you've averaged about two gas prices per year. If all you did was post one gas price a month (not multiple prices from one gas, but just one gas price), you would increase the amount of information you're passing on to your fellow members by more than 5 times, helping them be more knowledgeable shoppers for fuel. Just my opinion, but that might be more helpful to them than knowing how we compare "paying for by the gallon". But it's just a suggestion.
