When you lease you dont have to have as much money upfront as with buying. But with a lease you will be charged for common items of wear and tear. Brakes, tires, etc. By the time your done with your lease and you decide to keep it; it ends up costing you more money in the long run. Buying it is better.

Do the simple math on it. You pay nearly the whole value of the vehicle over 4 or 5 years at which point any decent car is still worth about 1/2 its sticker.
