diesel around here is notoriously 50+ cents higher / gallon. Right now it's more like 60 cents.

Not only sucks for them, they drive most goods that you buy in stores, and yes your cost of goods goes up with it. Too bad they don't go down when diesel goes down!

Donatelo: diesel engines run better on diesel or biodiesel. And we need them b/c they have the better torque for hauling.

All diesel engines should run on natural gas, we have plenty of it, and it an easy conversion.

diesel has its place. But we all pay for high diesel (high cost of transportation of goods means higher prices at the store).

I am a farmer from Iowa.I have diesel powered tractors I use on my farm it is spendy to use them. Everyone in this country is effected by diesel prices not just users. Goods at stores, services, buses, trucks, mining equipment, ships, rairoads, are some users of diesel fuel that effect all of us of consumers. We all effected by high diesel prices.

Not the problem on the shaky side. Our trouble is the folks that got elected and appointed to state government.
